Therapy services are professional services based on scheduled clinical time, preparation, documentation, client communication, and professional availability. Refund eligibility depends on the service type, appointment status, cancellation timing, payment status, and applicable practice policies.

Consultation Requests

Submitting a consultation request through the website does not create a charge unless a paid consultation or service is separately confirmed. If a consultation is free, no refund applies.

Scheduled Therapy Sessions

Fees for completed therapy sessions are generally not refundable once the service has been provided. This includes in-person sessions, telehealth sessions, relationship sessions, and other clinical appointments.

Late Cancellations and Missed Appointments

Late cancellation fees, no-show fees, and missed appointment fees may apply if described in the practice's informed consent, service agreement, or cancellation policy. Refunds for late cancellations or missed appointments are generally not provided unless the practice determines an exception is appropriate.

Billing Errors

If a client believes a payment was processed in error, duplicated, or charged incorrectly, the client should contact the practice promptly. Confirmed billing errors may be corrected or refunded.

Insurance and Reimbursement

The practice does not guarantee insurance reimbursement, out-of-network benefits, claim approval, or superbill reimbursement. Insurance denials, deductible issues, or reimbursement delays do not automatically create a refund right for services already provided.

Prepaid Services

Clinical Outcome

Therapy outcomes vary. Lack of a specific clinical result, emotional improvement, symptom reduction, relationship outcome, or personal goal achievement does not automatically create a refund right for services already provided.
